The Gränsfors Small Carving Hatchet has the same head as the Gränsfors Small Hatchet but with a specially carved handle. The handle has been designed in consultation with woodworkers to give a better grip. Thanks to its light weight, the axe is excellent for carving small details. The Small Carving Hatchet comes as standard with a double-sided ground edge. Made in Sweden by the top Blacksmiths.

Each Gransfors Axe head is hand-forged from high quality Swedish steel that is honed, tempered & annealed to the perfect hardness by the experienced Gränfors Bruk Swedish Smiths who stamp their initials on the head.
